My last blog was about Lewis Carroll, who is known for Alice In Wonderland. He is also known for the Walrus and the carpenter. The story about the walrus and carpenter was very controversial at the time. The walrus represents a man that is in charge. The facial hair, the top hat, and the coat symbols a man of high social class. A factory owner maybe. 
This poem is about child labor. The walrus approaches the oysters selling them dreams in hopes of taking their baby oysters for work…money. One older oyster did not buy the dream that he was selling to the others this in fact was a miracle. Despite the fact that Walrus eat OYSTERS! 
Long story short the oysters went back with the men and lets just say they did the job lol They were very tasteful lol
